Race Series
Here you will find the individual race series that we run along with the car build logs that go with each series. Due to the vast difference in running costs and travel distances, some series are only run once a year.
The original dirt cheap endurance series. Composed entirely of $500 cars (lemons) put on a track with a hope of surviving 24 hours of plain, old-fashioned racing. This series pushes teams to "make the most of what you're given". Challenging the borders of resourcefulness, backyard engineering, sponsorship networking, and preparation for the unexpected.
This page is dedicated to what we call our pace cars. These high powered road cars are used on the track as a visual aid for new drivers on the team to aid in learning the racing line, proper trail-braking technique, and general track manners. As a bonus they are used for team promotion to help generate support through sponsors and donations
Open wheel racing featuring team built cars that utilize the original 1960s VW Bug drivetrain components and suspension. This is the cheapest doorway to open wheel racing but don't let the price tag fool you, the driving, fabricating, and team management skills lead right to the higher race series
